Place is still very good. Corned beef hash benedict is still awesome. What wasn't awesome was that for a couple of years now the AC has not worked. I spoke with the waitress running the floor this past July and she said it had to do with finger pointing to and from new owners and prior owners. All I know is that it is stiffling in there and the crank jallosy windows keep hitting the heads of those waiting on bench outside (see my in-laws)....so outside ventilation remains poor.

I emailed Sanyo Co. to let them know they have a dead unit in Rockport and that it would be in their best interests to get it fixed as the Sanyo badge has been thermally embossed into the minds of countless uncomfortable customers.

My brother laughed and said they would probably send a man up there and just have the Sanyo badge removed....problem solved =)

Food was really good....place was crazy as usual...I felt the blueberry muffins were not as good as last years but the waffle was yummy!

No longer Flav's. Just "Red Skiff". New owners 2 to 3 years ago. My take. Our food was even better than before! The corned beef hash benedict was the perfect boy food breakfast and kept be going all the way to early dinner at the Causway.

Best place to have breakfast in Rockport! Excellant value...waffles were yummy...muffins out of this world! Service was fast & friendly....A definate must every year when we come in on vacation!!!!

Dear Red Skiff, it's not remodeling that makes a quality restaurant, it's spirit and good food. My husband and I recently went to the Red Skiff since it changed owners. I am sad, it has changed. They appear to be catering to tourists. There was pressure from our waitress to finish and open up our table. She kept wisking plates away. We didn't dare stay too long. Even when the line was out the door, you used to be able to stay put a bit. The owner used to come out and chat with the customers, or talk from the kitchen. Even the former waitress staff seemed happy. They don't look too happy now. Just a regular diner now.

The best little place to eat breakfast in Rockport.....Food was fantastic......EXCELLENT VALUE....very friendly staff....apple cinnamon muffins are out of this world!!!!!

Nothing fancy but very good without pretenses. Very friendly folks. We always find ourselves here. Must get the Anadama bread toasted and a loaf for the road!

DL....Your correct when you say this websight is about speaking of experience and opinion. And as we all no everyone has different experiences and opinions. But when you use the statement "They are trying to cater to the locals WHICH NOONE ELSE DOES HERE" it sounds more like a statement than an opinion. Whether you are the owner or just a customer Ill say the same thing...Its one thing to promote a business...but its another thing to bad mouth others to do so. And after reading that review that is the impression that I got.

Yes, I agree with Sonny. There ARE many business in Rockport that cater to the locals. It is one thing to try and promote your business when you are new in town...But Its another thing to bad mouth others to do so. Try using some morals, and remember the locals might not always be there for you.

Writing your own review is one thing but it is not a good business practice to throw the entire town of Rockport under the bus. There are many business here that cater to the locals. So please try and be a good neighbor to all and keep your comments and self reviews to Flav's specifically.

THE RESTAURANT HAS JUST BEEN REOPENED WITH NEW OWNERS. THE PLACE IS SO CLEAN AND BRIGHT. THE SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH. THE FOOD IS TREMENDOUS!!! THEY ARE TRYING TO CATER TO THE LOCALS WHICH NO ONE ELSE DOES HERE. PLEASE GO THERE AND SUPPORT THEM!!

Flav's is the best. A little more expensive but the food is so worth it. Best waitress, they work hard for their money. these girls get up early, guys in the kitchen work hard and do an amazing job.gif'>

My wife and I have eaten at Flav's several times and I really enjoy the food and the service. We live over 1400 miles away, and Flav's is usually the first place where we eat, when we vacation in Rockport. Four stars

My husband and I ate here for the first time this morning. It was wonderful! I have lived down the street, and worked in Bearskin Neck for years and I CANNOT believe I never ventured in. Maybe the size of the building scared me, it is teeny. But, the waitstaff is wonderful and the food was perfect. This is my new favorite place for breakfast!!!

I love this restaurant for breakfast, and they tall blonde waitress named Anna is incredible, she is so nice and courteous! Everything on the menu is delicious
