I haven't been there in 5 years. I wasn't too impressed when I ordered coffee and a sandwich and was told I had to wait for a new pot of coffee. I ate my average tasting sandwich and said to the waitress I will pay my bill. She said you ordered coffee. I did but that was 20 minutes ago. "You could have offered me decaf but that was up to you to ask." "I would have taken it." With only 3 people at the counter she wasn't too attentive to the customers. The place was so much better decades ago. 
This small shop has the BEST donuts ANYWHERE! I drive from Indianapolis to get them (when I'm in Rockport in the Summer or Fall. It's an absolutely delightful little place and the people there are always so nice! 
No better donuts anywhere, IMO. And they're usually still warm when you get them. Then there are the Bismarcks (when they make them) and the Norwegian coffee cake. Yum.

The desserts are still the best around but they've watered down the coffee! Nice people behind the counter, though.
