Reviews!

There are some good things and bad things about this place. The service has always been very slow but the staff is usually very nice. The food is never consistant and usually cold and overpriced. Great selection of beers that are well priced. Bar area is not clean and the restaurant smells like old cooking grease. The ac never works in the summer and the restaurant is filled with flies. The bathrooms are always, always dirty. The atmosphere is casual and fun and they do have some really good entertainment. The patio is nice and convenient for people from the train/beach.Kick it up a notch on the food, service and cleanliness and this place has great potential.

The Coast Line Grille rocks! Don't you love the people who put multiple negative review up? Sounds like someone who got kicked out and is pretty bitter!!!

Hare you noticed how many positive reviews of the Coastline Grille (see below) have been posted by "Admin." Something's fishy here and its not just the redolence of Coastline Grille.

It's me again. I meant to give the place one star -I changed my mind after awarding it two- but two and one equals three. Not at Coastline. One star. Only one.

Horrid. Simply horrid. Poorly seasoned food and slow service -add to this tableau of disaster surly management, and that pretty much describes my experience. My twin sister, Brenda, and I had chosen Coastline Grille as a fun night out -boy had we wandered down a miserable path. The place is hardly classy or ellegant enough for the extra "e" at the end of its name. Stay away. We sure will. The waitress was nice.

Scampi= extremely salty and served cold
Service= friendly but slow
Brownie sundae= AWFUL, tasted like plastic
Atmosphere= smells like old frying oil, kind of stale and gross.
Overall- not worth it.

We were the only people in the restaurant and one of the two entrees we ordered was served cold. Scampi was good, but really, really salty. The brownie in the brownie sundae was stale and tasted like plastic. Service was friendly, but the smell of old frying oil doesn't help the atmosphere. We'll stick with the Landing in the future.

I havn't been to the Coast Line in over 9 months and it's killing me inside. Cannot wait to stop in this summer and grab a beer with the greatest people in Manchester.

Went to Coastline on FEB 2nd. The band was AWESOME! although I can not remember the name of the band, the guys in it were seasoned players. Lead singer sounded like every cover he sang. unbelievable. anyone know the band?

I have to say it...I love this place! and not just because I used to work there...I love the owners, the food is fantabulious/reasonably priced and I love the relaxed atmosphere...the music is great, it adds a bonus to Manchester. I love the fact that I do not have to drive after having a couple glasses of wine by getting on the train and heading home....love it!...ps....JT loyd, you
Rock! Saturday Night! 2/2/08 Funbucket...best band...check them out!

all u ppl who talk down on the coast line dont know what ur talking about. theres no way it takes them 45 minutes to put out 2 salads with only one other couple in the dining room. Only if the Patio has 100 ppl on it. Check out there live music. Youll be impressed

I was there last week for the 1st time...they had a good band there and it was fun. Screamin Jeannie's (I think)girl singer. Bartender was funny and beautiful...I had the Seafood casserole...delicious. I would recommend this place....clientèle was nice and atmosphere was good too.

Live music every weekend! Finally there's something to do in Manchester, it's been a long time coming. Really good bands too, I've seen The Klapp, Groove Therapy and Elephant House there. This place isn't messing around and it is jamming every weekend.

Best restaurant in Manchester. Great food, reasonable prices and pleasant staff. Only place in town that has all three of those things going for it.

The other places in town cost way too much for the portions they serve. If you're in Manchester, this is where you want to go!

We've been three times since they opened because it's in town and the menu is somewhat casual/family dining. But everytime including when we just ordered salads we had at least a 30-45 minute wait for our food. This was casual dining with just okay results. The food is so-so but it's the waiting that's the problem. I could understand the first few months but even a year after they were opened we went in for two dinner salads on a week night. Only one other table was occupied and it took 30 minutes to get the salads. WE NEED A FAMILY TYPE RESTAURANT IN TOWN AND I WANT TO SEE THEM DO WELL but THEY NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE FOOD ON TABLES QUICKER.

the coastline grille is okay but its not fancy or anything. the food is alright.

Coastline isn't aweful, but it not by any means great. The food is average at best. The athmosphere is cold. If u are waiting for the train after a day on singing beach it's an ok choice. But don't make it your destination place for a night out.

My husband and I went to the Coastline Grille and loved it. We sat on the patio, and it was such a nice atmosphere. I had the Greek pizza...delicious! And my husband had the haddock, mmmmmm yummy! The waitstaff was very attentive and the mixed drinks were also great. Will definitely be back soon.

The Coast Line Grille in Manchester-by-the-sea is AMAZING to say the least! The food was delicious and there was a great variety! Even the kids menu was great! There were alot of choices for the kids and the portions were huge, we had to take alot of it home with us! I had the white lobster chili and the Tuna steak salad. The lobster chili was unreal, unlike anything i have ever had before and the tuna salad was a very original dish with so much flavor. There is also a full service bar which is convenient. The staff was very friendly and attentative and the chef even came out and introduced himself and asked how things were going. The waitstaff was really there to serve YOU and made it feel like you were their only priority! Overall it was a very refreshing experience. I suggest everyone gives it a shot, and I anticipate it will be extremely busy in the summer time!! Hats off to the Coast Line Grille! keep up the good work guys!!

For COAST LINE GRILLE in MANCHESTER. It's not fine dining but it's good casual food. It's a good place to get something good to eat with the kids or have a few appetizers and drinks with friends. Hopefully the outside seating will be ready soon.

The food is yummy at the Coast Line Grille in Manchester. First time patron, service was great. White lobster chili was to die for! Smore's dessert was a fun idea, will go back with the kids for that experience!

We went to The Coast Line Grille in Manchester and what a hidden jewel! It's a new restaurant with a phenomenal menu, a great atmosphere and a very pleasant staff. The martini list was a hit with everyone at our table as was the food. I got the smoked mozzarella raviolis with lobster sauce and was very impressed. The prices were fair and unlike the other restaurants in Manchester, this one actually has parking so we weren't worried about getting towed. I'll definitely go back and I'll recommend this great place to anyone.

The Coast Line Grille in Manchester is wonderful...The staff are very nice, professional and inviting. I believe the menu is new from the original one.The food was great and timing was good. The martini's were delisious, huge & presentation was appealing. The bartenders were fun and they had a lot of great promotions for FREE stuff like lunch cards, brew tours and vinyard tours! It's tucked away right behind the manchester train station next to the dunkin donuts....perfect if you don't want to drive.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone...I haven't had a bad experience yet.
