Well I am new to these parts, so any place that I visist to eat, I am excited embarking on the new experience. Sadly to say this is one trip I could have done without. It seemed that the store was turned over to teenagers, who had no idea on how service is suppose to be conducted. If you order a menu item that is suppose to be a foot long, I'm sure you'd expect your item to come a foot long, well that is not the case here. My item came out roughly about 7 inches long. If you plan to go there for lunch, and are in some sore to time constraint I urge you to reconsider. You'll be pleased if you have some time on your hand because they will surely forget about you, and the money that you owe them. So in my final words I give this place 5 negative starts!! Posted by: Drew at June 20, 2008 02:45 PM they have been in business for 30 years and they still put out exceptional food.the waitresses are always friendly and will help make your experience great.the menu is affordable yet creative, they incorporate local seafood into the specials usually. try the chowda at lunch. Go during the week because there is a line out the door on the weekend. Posted by: Myles at August 17, 2007 05:15 PM Sailor Stan's serves a great breakfast within sight of the ocean. They also serve lunch and, I'm told, have some dinner selections--although I did not partake of those. It is small, clean, friendly and uncomplicated. Prices are affordable. I went there several times while on vacation to Gloucester and can't wait to get back. Posted by: stephen e. smith at December 9, 2004 11:04 AMPost a review! (Read Posting Guidelines.)
