Reviews!

my husband, grandson and myself ate at captain hooks on august 1 2009 it was the worst place we have ever eaten we ordered clam chowder shrimp subs and chicken finger sub the chowder was disgusting it had to have been old the broth was no longer white it was terrible the shrimp was raw.We lierally did'nt eat any of it.If my husband wont eat something its not edible. The girl at the counter asked if everything was ok when she saw we had'nt touched our food.I told her no the shrimp was raw and the chowder was sour she asked me to wait while she talked to the owner and was told nothing was wrong with the food she would'nt do anything about it. I work in a restaurant and would never treat a customer that way.Oh well money wasted lesson learned. This restaurant seriously does'nt deserve even one star

I like the food here. Soups are super! I think the dinning room could use a little fixing though. I like the decor but they should spread out the tables more for elbow room.

I live in New York and still maintain that Captan Hooks has the BEST pizza slices in the world!

The best chicken fingers on Cape Ann!

The staff work hard. The food is always great, very fresh. A good value for lunch or dinner.

I love Captain Hook's salads, especially her Greek salad with homemade pita bread. My son loves the steak bomb. I agree that the pizza sauce is a tad sweet, but it's still really yummy.

Not a fan of their pizza, but their portions are very large and at a decent price. I have only eaten here a few times, no problem with their subs just can't take the sweet sauce they make for their pizza.

Great food, prices and service. Always a delight!!!! Only complaint is that they close for vacations. Just kidding :o)

I have been a Captain Hook's devotee for quite some time now, their staff is very friendly and quick. Recently had the misfortune on two separate occasions of purchasing salads which ended up having dead fruit flies mixed in with the lettuce. I was so grossed out the first time, but thought it was a fluke. The second time it happened, I was horrified. It will be a while before I go back, unfortunately. At least during the warmer weather anyway.

Great family-operated fast food at reasonable prices. Large portions. I go here more then I go to my own kitchen.
