i've eaten here more than i would have liked to because there is next to zero late night food around here. lately the appetizers have been safe and the pekings ravs are actually some of the best around here. basically any of the entrees i've gotten here havebeen nasty. a couple times i've sworn i will never go back. i have seen some funny s**T happen while having a drink waiting for my takeout in there. lots of drunk gloucester trash starting trouble. pretty entertaining. Then they came to take the orders they took the order of the other people i was with and did not even ask what i would like to have. Posted by: John S at March 8, 2008 07:36 PMYuk, that's all I can say. Not worth the money to drive there! Posted by: S at December 11, 2007 04:22 PMWe used to go here when I was in school after a play or chorus musical or show. A cast party. It used to be really good. But it's really gone down hill. Posted by: Tammy at May 18, 2007 04:37 PM It's just not good at all. I rate a lot of Chinese on the quality of the rice since just about everyone gets rice with their dinner and I think it shows an attention to quality/detail. Their rice is dry, dark brown, tiny pieces of pink pork and that's it - not an embellishment to be found. I agree with the poster's husband (below) about the chicken fingers. Mushy, yuck. I had one other dish there, but can't recall now what it was... but I know I didn't eat most of it. It was just a waste of money, I should have driven into town. Posted by: AML at February 15, 2007 08:58 PMMy husband and I disagree on this one..I LOVE IT / HE HATES IT . I love their egg rolls and chicken fingers and peking raviolli best..no other place can come close to theirs..I can't bring myself to ever switch from them. My husband says they're greasy and he hates the batter on the chicken fingers(says it's mushy), and says the seafood delight is dried out.He says I should tell you it sucks plain and simple..but HE'S WRONG !!!WRONG !!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!! Don't listen to him ! No stars. Went there once. Asked blond waitress for a recommendation, she said she never ate there. We picked 3 dishes - everything had the same brown sauce - vegetables were limp and overcooked, too salty and visually unappealing. Have never returned. Posted by: Former customer at April 8, 2006 10:54 PM Food is prepared fast and tastes great. Best beef teriyaki around. Posted by: James Cambece at November 7, 2005 02:11 PM I really like there food, I have never found it to be greasy like a lot of other places. They are also generous with their portions. Note from Admin: This review has been edited. The reviewer's description of his/her gastrointestinal issues was a little too graphic and way more information than readers needed. Posted by: upset stomache at August 11, 2004 10:12 PM I have never had a bad meal here...the food is always fresh and they make the best damn Scorpion Bowl you can get. My kids don't like the decor, they were much happier with the China Port look LOL remember the bamboo roof and all the Asian stuff, how dark it was in there..they're still disappointed in the change and I agree, the atmosphere isn't that great..it feels like a Sub Shop. Luckily, the food still rocks, though : )
