I must toss my 2 cents in for JR's. What a great little place. Very clean and nicely appointed, great friendly service, and then there's the food. The food was out of this world, from the buffalo shrimp appetizer to the seafood stew, all was simply outstanding and at reasonable prices too. Don't forget about this place. It's a little off the beaten path, but once you visit, I guarantee you'll go back. Posted by: Glenn at May 29, 2008 11:38 AMHave been going there since they opened - food is great - service was iffy at first now has turned around - have great tips, and seafood. can't beat .25 wing night on Thursday - get there early - lot's of fun and not to far off the beaten path. It's worth the trip A great find, just a mile off of Main Street. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. After several visits, I've tried the fried calamari (with a fabulous cayenne sherry aioli) and the haddock chowder (full of stock). The chef's sauteed cod cheeks are "to die for" - evidently he won an award for them at a Gloucester fish festival. My friend loves the 20 oz. pork chop, but because of it's size, it takes about 25 minutes to cook.Last weekend I tried their breakfast - probably the best omelet I've ever had. I'm on my way to becoming a "regular". Post a review! (Read Posting Guidelines.) The name field is a required field (real name or screen name).
