Reviews!

I had the lobster pie with ritz crackers, cream, wine, bread crumbs and I have to tell you, the car detailer was very unhappy when he saw what happened to the front seat. Geeeez, that stuff went right through me on the way home!

Yes for sure this was one of the finest restaurants on Cape Ann. Sadly it has closed it's doors. It will be missed.

This is my second favorite restaurant. I can't believe all the specials they have each day and they are reasonably priced. Everything I have had has been good. The homemade bread is always warm and delicious. They have a wide range of choices....even one night I went they had Mexican food as a special. I had the chicken burrito, huge white tender chunks and it was enormous. The host, he may be the owner, is always polite and makes it a habit to ask everyone how their meal was. The staff are friendly and prompt.

food, atmosphere, waitstaff all very good. had the best marinated grilled salmon on a ceasar salad I ever had. it was a special. the menu is sort of old fashion and could be updated and they need some music but all in all it is a worthwhile
spot.

Food is decent. If you're looking to take visitors out to dinner and they don't like seafood, this is a fairly safe bet. The prime rib is great. The bean dip and anadama bread is a nice touch. Everything else is pretty consistent. On our last visit, we brought our 8 month old son. The waitresses were great with him - they gave us a table in a smaller room without only a few other tables so that no one would be bothered when our son started his baby talk. They were also very careful when they served the food to keep it out of his way and they were careful not to hold hot soup above his head while serving.
