only come here if you have good health insurance, they fry in lard.i think alot of these people that see each other at jt,s might be hooking up again at mass general sometime down the road.the only way to get great fried clams is to fry in lard, with that said jt,s are the best clams around.woodmans is over priced, the cooks are rushed, clams are greasy, huge crowds(i guess they just think its the place to go)and small portions.i think the heart doctors love these clam shacks more than we do. only come here if you have good health insurance, they fry in lard.i think alot of these people that see each other at jt,s might be hooking up again at mass general sometime down the road.the only way to get great fried clams is to fry in lard, with that said jt,s are the best clams around.woodmans is over priced, the cooks are rushed, clams are greasy, huge crowds(i guess they just think its the place to go)and small portions.i think the heart doctors love these clam shacks more than we do. only come here if you have good health insurance, they fry in lard.i think alot of these people that see each other at jt,s might be hooking up again at mass general sometime down the road.the only way to get great fried clams is to fry in lard, with that said jt,s are the best clams around.woodmans is over priced, the cooks are rushed, clams are greasy, huge crowds(i guess they just think its the place to go)and small portions.i think the heart doctors love these clam shacks more than we do. Posted by: mike a at July 1, 2008 12:07 AM Let's face it fellas. The BEST chow this side of the wahu. Like Fresh Seafood? CHECK! Fish, CHECK! Clams, scallops, lobster? CHECK! Would like to keep this a secret, but let's face it - this is a top notch establishment on Cape Anne. ate at farnhams for the first time in many years My parents used to go to Farnham's when we were little (I am one of 11 children) and now we go there. It doesn't get any better than this place for seafood - the side orders are great too! Posted by: Priscilla at July 14, 2007 11:40 AM
We stopped here for lunch a few days ago because of these reviews. We were not disappointed. Because we aren't fried food fans, my wife had the lobster roll and I had a grilled halibut sandwich. Both were among the best ever. Lived on the North Shore all my life and just discovered JT Farnham's last summer and it has the best fried food of anywhere. I can't wait for it open again in the Spring. Post a review! (Read Posting Guidelines.) The name field is a required field (real name or screen name).
