Recipe Card for Green Bean Casserole ~ Casseroles & Vegetables

1 qt. green beans, cooked & drained
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
4 tsp. onion, chopped fine
Crushed crackers for topping


Place green beans in a 9 x 9-inch dish.

Mix butter, flour, salt, sugar, sour cream, Swiss cheese and onion.

Spread over hot green beans. Top with crushed crackers.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

(Variations: Eliminate onions; add mushrooms; add sliced almonds)
