Calling all boaters! Get some lights and get creative!

Boaters Wanted! Join the fun and enter the Boat Parade of Lights on Saturday, September 2. All boaters receive gas gift certificates and other gifts. Prizes awarded in several categories. Boaters can pre-register or just show up in the Annisquam River at Jones Creek at 6:30. Parade gets underway at dusk, around 7:00 p.m.

Boat Parade participants and viewers:

Parade gets underway about 7:00 p.m., starting at Jones' Creek.The parade travels down the Annisquam, through the cut, around the perimeter of the inner harbor and ends back in the outer harbor for the fireworks about 10:00 p.m., after all parade boats have been anchored in the harbor.

Don't forget to bring an FM radio and tune in to 104.9. They will be broadcasting the music accompanying the fireworks. The timing of the fireworks display may depend on the status of the Red Sox game being broadcast on WBOQ.
